Anatomical Liver Needlepoint Canvas
Anatomical Liver Needlepoint Canvas
The liver regulates most chemical levels in the blood and excretes a product called bile, which helps carry away waste products from the liver. The liver is a significant organ and carries out many vital functions that we all need to stay alive and healthy! This liver needlepoint canvas, and indeed the whole series, was inspired by Mary Katherine Needlepoint. She is a living organ donor and donated a piece of her liver to save a life.
This series of needlepoint canvases may not be for everyone! But for those of us interested in medicine, the human body, anatomy, biology, psychology, healing, and oddities, these human anatomy canvases will fascinate and delight.
The human anatomy needlepoint canvases are ornament sized at around 4” at their largest diameter, on 18 mesh. They’ve been designed to be detailed and realistic, maybe even too realistic!
Each canvas will come with a stitch guide, lovingly curated by the talented Kayla of Fire and Iris Designs Stitch guides include original stitch diagrams and thread suggestions.
