I love walking through cemeteries, admiring the artwork and stonework of old headstones. Victorian era headstones are some of the most ornately carved and opulent stones, with a tremendous variety of symbols and imagery.
All of these headstones are based on real headstones I've seen on my travels from cemeteries in the Southeastern United States. The names, of course, are not real.
These headstone designs measure 3x5" on 18 mesh. Hand painted and stitch painted.
