Her Perfect Christmas Morning Stocking Needlepoint Canvas

The newest stocking arrival at Spellbound Stitchery and in the Heritage Christmas Collection is "Her Perfect Christmas Morning." Huge shoutout to Kat @mskat082 for all of her help in developing this design! We hope this is the first of many stocking designs to reflect a diversity of households and families at Christmas time!

You can feel the delight of this little girl's gallop down the stairs on Christmas morning, hear her squeals as she sees all of her gifts, and laugh at the paper and ribbons and bows torn to bits and scattered across the floor as the excitement of opening presents fills the room! Not in the image, but in our imaginations, is mom and dad next to the viewer, at the ready with a garbage bag, sipping their coffee, and slyly giving each other a high five or a fist bump - they really nailed it this year.

All of the details, from the way the tree nestles into the curve of the staircase, to the girl's hair, to her pajama set, to the toys and wrapping paper and bows, Kat and I discussed and delighted over. If you know this design, and you know Kat and her Christmas decorations, you may recognize some similarities!

This stocking needlepoint canvas is on 13 mesh and filled with details - but don't let that stop you from trying out decorative stitching, embellishments, and fun threads and fibers. I can't wait to see how stitchers bring this design to life and make it their own!
