Krampus 4" Round Needlepoint CHART - Instant Download
Meet KRAMPUS! Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic figure in Central and Eastern Alpine folklore who, during the Christmas season, scares children who have misbehaved. Assisting Saint Nicholas, or Santa Claus, the pair visit children on the night of December 5th, with Saint Nicholas rewarding the well-behaved children with modest gifts such as oranges, dried fruit, walnuts and chocolate, while the badly behaved ones only receive punishment from Krampus with birch rods.
This may be somewhat of an obscure holiday tradition, but I am completely fascinated and enthralled by Krampus! Many of my German friends know him well and have celebrated the holidays with Krampus as a prominent character alongside Santa Claus.
This chart is for a 3" design on 18 mesh, (for 4" round) but can also be used for:
4" on 14 count
4.3" on 13 count
For needlepoint: If painting or stitching on 18 mesh for a 4" round needlepoint canvas, I would recommend using an 8x8" piece of 18 mesh canvas, and start from the center of the design and work outwards for a centered project. But also, you do you!
For cross stitch: honestly I am just so glad you're here! I also have no clue what to do or how to help. Have fun and send me pictures!
