"Terror Crossing the Alps" Needlepoint Canvas

Designing these haunting, undead portraits, was a delightful creative undertaking! I challenged myself to find creative combinations, and some portraits lent themselves perfectly to certain monsters. 

Spooky Hollow meets the Napoleonic wars in this version of the Headless Horseman, a reference to Jacques-Louis David's portrait of Napoleon Crossing the Alps. Fun threads and stitches add to the drama and movement in the piece.
