Ticket to Stitch a Spell with Spellbound Stitchery October 12, 2024

Join Spellbound Stitchery for our very FIRST in-person stitching social on October 12! Spend the day with Stephanie in Historic downtown Rutherfordton, NC for spooky season delights, including a cemetery tour in Rutherfordton's historic cemetery (optional but encouraged), stitching time at the gorgeous Firehouse Inn, with door prizes and spooky season gifts, exclusive access to new spooky season designs and accessories, and deep discounts on the Spellbound Stitchery trunk show, available only in person at this event. After our stitching time, you're invited to stay for a Dutch treat dinner at Copper Penny Grill.

*Please note: The Firehouse Inn is a historic structure with only stair access to the main event space. The Cemetery Tour will also require walking across uneven terrain. The cemetery, restaurants, and event space are all walkable, but it's totally fine to drive from the cemetery to the Firehouse Inn and Downtown.

Schedule: 

• 11:00-12:00 Meet in Rutherfordton City Cemetery for a historic cemetery tour and learn about Victorian-era headstone symbolism and imagery (Optional)
• 12:00-1:30 Lunch on your own, exploring downtown Rutherfordton. A list of suggested restaurants will be provided - all within walking distance to the Firehouse Inn. Don't miss Victorian Lace Antique mall which boasts an impressive selection of needlepointed chairs! (Optional)
• 1:30-5:00 PM Stitching event at the historic Firehouse Inn, with door prizes, free gifts, Spellbound Stitchery Trunk Show, and treats! Bring a spooky project or two to work on! Stitchers of all levels are welcome to attend. Any instruction or stitching assistance will be informal, but bring your questions!
• 5:00-6:30 Dutch treat dinner together at Copper Penny Grill (Optional)

Ticket fees help to cover the costs of the event venue as well as support staff and logistical needs. 

Tickets are not refundable, but they are transferable. In order to receive a refund upon a cancellation someone else must take your spot. I will take a waitlist once all of the spots fill to help in case of the need to transfer.
